Description
Cohiba Coronas Especiales — Box of 25
Cohiba Coronas Especiales is one of the classic long and slender formats in the Cohiba portfolio. Made in the distinctive Laguito No. 2 vitola, it measures 152 mm (6 inches) in length with a 38 ring gauge, giving the cigar an elegant, refined appearance and a smoking experience in which the wrapper plays an important role.
The Coronas Especiales shares the same 38 ring gauge as the famous Cohiba Lancero, but its shorter 152 mm length makes it a more compact interpretation of the traditional Laguito format. Habanos identifies the Coronas Especiales as the shorter version of the Lancero and traces both formats to the El Laguito factory in Havana.
Its flavor profile is often described with notes of honey, coffee, cedar, leather, hay, vanilla and gentle spice. Some tasting references also report cocoa and creamy tobacco characteristics, with the profile developing gradually throughout the smoke. Individual tasting experiences can vary with production, storage and aging.

Flavor Profile
Cohiba Coronas Especiales is known for an elegant and layered profile combining honey, coffee, cedar, hay and leather, with additional impressions of vanilla, cocoa and gentle spice reported by different tasting references. The slender 38 ring gauge allows the wrapper and tobacco blend to contribute prominently to the overall character.
The cigar can develop greater depth as the smoking session progresses, making it an interesting choice for enthusiasts who appreciate traditional Cuban Panetela-style formats and a more nuanced smoking experience.
A Classic Cohiba Format
Cohiba Coronas Especiales represents the elegant, slender side of the Cohiba range. Its Laguito No. 2 format connects it directly with the classic Lancero tradition, while its 152 mm length provides a slightly shorter alternative.
